Dinner tonight was grilled ham and cheese sandwiches on sourdough bread and a big bowl of tossed green salad.

BB, I will probably use them for caprese salads and tomato sandwiches. DD will use the rest of them this weekend while we are gone. She also likes the caprese salads so she will probably use what's left for that.

Stopped by the produce stand today while running errands. I bought 3 large heirloom tomatoes, 5 ears of corn, 6 white nectarines and 8 plums for $6.35. The corn was 5 ears for a buck and the plums were 49 cents a pound and nectarine were 1.49 a pound and tomatoes were 1.99 a pound. Not too bad today.

There is a local olive oil company called Sciabica's that does cold pressed extra virgin flavored olive oils. They are pretty good. The flavors are pressed into the oil when they press the olives so there is no heat applied.

I had ranch and DH had a new lemon vinagrette.

I have a very small bottle of basil olive oil that my parents brought back from their trip to Italy. It is so good. I also have a bottle of organic Kirkland brand olive oil that recently won awards for best tasting organic olive oil. I am also enjoying the Meyer lemon infused olive oil.
