You can scour craiglist and freecycle for people trying to get rid of craft stuff.
You can also post ISO (in search of) or WANTED ads in either. On craigslist, I recommend the "Free" and "barter" areas.
I was lucky enough to find a Christmas Craft that uses much of what I already have. I'm doing Memory Jars.

We had this last night. I think it would be very kid friendly! A familiar dish with exotic flavors :-) And so yummy! I also added recipes for companion dishes.
Dinner menu: "Fried" Chicken Curry with cucumber/tomato salad, hummus, and flat bread.

Since I've last been on the forums, we have downsized & are stretching quite nicely.
We went from rent of $1100/month to $840/month. We can further reduce our rent by signing a longer lease. We no longer have a gas bill, and our electric & water bills were reduced significantly.
I am saving boo-coos on gas!!

I <3 praline pecans. Mmmmmmm! There are hundreds of recipes online :-) I've never made them, so I don't have a tried & true one to pass along.

Fat-free, low cal frosties
Needed: 1 packet fat free, sugar free puddingskim milkfat-free whipped toppingMake 1 packet of pudding with the skim milk (per packet instructions)
Fold in with a whole container of whipped topping (the regular size container/small size).
Pour into serving dishes or a glass.
Freeze. Stir every 30min. Ready ...

Chicken a la King is a good & different way to eat the peppers. All you need is some leftover chicken, bell peppers, pimentos, milk, butter, & flour..... and some rice for it to cover.

We had Poulet a la Saucisse (from allrecipes.com). With riced potatoes & crescent rolls. It was yummy.
This was the first time I made it, and I will be making it again!!
