  • Re: Can I still wear this?

[quote user="Ally"]I tend to think that we should all wear what we like and not worry about what other people think. But the truth is ... you do need to think about how others will view you in that dress. Will you look happy and confident and enjoying the dress? Will they see a hillbilly or a misguided Mexican wanna-be? Put the dress on ...

[quote user="mamasjob2"]My heart aches for those in Oklahoma. I am sick with sorrow for all the death. Babs is right, I have so many blessings and nothing to complain about today. This has been a terrible year for deaths of children at schools. My oldest son asked me if schools were safe. So sad. And just a few more days of the school ...

Leftover fried rice with chicken and shrimp, probably some ice cream and another piece of rhubarb pie (never knew a 9-inch pie could last so long! LOL). Took my helpers out for lunch today, but did not eat my Whopper Jr.; might have that later.

My neighbor down the hall baby-sits her 18-month old grandson. He's an adorable red-headed cherub. Just looking at his chubby little frame makes me smile.

I'm sorry, Loveday. He lives in another state and I don't know where he purchased it.  Maybe you can find it on sale somewhere. Hope so! (:

  • Re: Plain and simple home fries.

Hi BB. Nice to hear from you. (: Re: the stove. It's about 20 years old and belongs to this apartment. The previous tenant took good care of it. I keep it clean, wipe up spills, scour the drip pans with stainless steel wool pads. If there is a build-up or a dried spill of something I make a paste out of baking soda and a little water. ...

They ran big fan's and dehumidifiers all week long, but two apartments still have to have their carpeting replaced. I wanted to find some yard sale items for a church project, but there weren't any good ...
