Pray it for her and over her life.  Psalm 27 King James Version (KJV)1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked, ...

He never gets the reciept home. Not bad for this month. Babs
What a great idea! Never occured to me to save my receipts ...
Hi. New here. My very first post. Getting close to the end of the month here so I will share what we had for dinner tonight. DH is still at work and won't be home until late. I made homemade hamburger helper. It's something I just came up with a long time ago and the kids really like it. I take 2 boxes ...

  • Re: aldi shoppers

Has anyone tried their line of Fit and Healthy items? I'd also like to know if their ground turkey is any good.   I live so far away it wouldn't be economical to try to take something back if it was bad. I get eggs and cheese chunks there and am always satisfied. Their bottled salad dressings are good, too.
I bought 2 hams from Aldi yesterday they were marked $5 off and have an expiration date of February 15th. I did not buy spiral hams which were double the price per pound but I was thinking of going back to buy 2 of them and freezing them for Easter.  I wish I had more freezer ...

  • Re: January 2014 Grocery Shopping, Meal & Menu Planning

These are a couple meals I make often. They're easy to fix and very satisfying. I had some green cabbage to use up, so first I made cabbage, onion and apple with some rinsed deli sliced corned beef (rinsed to get rid of some of the saltiness). I also like caraway seeds so I sprinkled on about 1/4 teaspoon.   The rest of the ...

  • Re: January 2014 Pantry Challenge..do it your way

I'm really enjoying this month's pantry challenge. I've probably bought less than half my usual monthly groceries and had lots of good meals.   Today i used a pint jar of homemade vegetable soup and combined it with odds and ends of leftovers, plus a small, peeled, diced potato, some onion, celery tops and a large ...
