Last night I made a hot fruit compote to put on the puffed pancakes for dinner. I used up a bag of assorted fruit, and a bag of blueberries. So that made a little dent in our freezer.

Cheryl, I've been doing the same thing regarding vegetables. I bought some big club house type vegetables of broccoli, carrots, salad mix, shredded cabbage mix, mushrooms, sugar snap peas and onions. I've been adding different vegetables to our "main" dish in addition to the vegetable/salad that has been filling ...

Here's to another week. Tuesday is our school fundraiser Turkey Bingo so we'll be doing that and eating the pizza there. Other than that I'm hoping for a boring week.

Yesterday I had two meetings to attend in the early afternoon and evening. So I spent $13.13 for dinner for five. (I was very impressed with my shopping abilities.) My family was able to eat dinner between the two meetings. The afternoon didn't turn out as planned, but that's okay too!
