budgeting has always been hard for me. i am working on fine tuning things. it is just the unexpected tire cost that threw me this month. i am thinking of a car repair fund for such things as maintaining my car. i have a gas cost budget. i thought by posting on here it would help me see where i need to improve.

my budget for the month of august was completely blown. i had a flat tire last week and had to have my car towed home then i had to buy new tires. i could have gotten away with a used one to replace the one that went flat, but would need new ones before winter anyway, so i went ahead and got the new ones...
