I say YES! With her new situation, it is more important than ever that she feels supported. It is also important to teach her all the frugal tips you can, but do so in a loving way like this. Teaching her some frugality (not assuming she is a spendthrift, we all can learn more) and time savers will make life easier for her and your grandchild.
