• Are You a Nerd?

Is there a topic or subject that you're interested in but most people would be surprised to find you're interested in? Are there programs or TV shows that captivate you? Are there websites you visit frequently? Do you belong to any clubs or organizations? For example, I visit NOAA website for nationwide weather tracking and USGS for ...
She does have allergies, BUT IT'S NOT BEDBUGS.  Yay, so I can keep my possessions!!!  It was fascinating to  reallize that besides textiles tht I can wash in hot water (eliminating bedbugs), I only needed to keep my Bible & computer (could substitute new ones).
I'm glad to ...

  • TOY SAFETY - Holiday giving

Happened to be surfing the web and saw a headline about the Top 10 Worst Toys for 2009. Wanted to remind people to make sure they look for these lists on before they spend money on something that is a bad idea.
He loves video games and it helps me get things done. No one else plays but only on Friday and Saturdays.  He gets to play daily.  However, just moments ago, I disconnected the darn thing.  He will have a fit but I feel it is necessary for him to calm down a bit and engage his brain in other ...

Of course the floss is fairly reasonable if your buying DMC or Anchor but its getting pricy. • Re: Christmas decorations

Sometimes I would buy something new if I liked it but I would force myself to get rid of stuff if I brought in something new. I decided to split the old decorations between the two boys. Its stuff they made in school.

  • Re: U.S. Resident fight to hang their laundry...

In our area, we can hang laundry. However I was talking to one of my neighbors and was rather surprised to discover that they had an aversion to seeing laundry hanging outside. They "didn't see the need to hang" when you have a perfectly good dryer to use. They are a retired couple and HAD TO hang clothes when they were growing up. ...

  • Re: Holiday crafts & cats

I had a cat who wouldn't leave our Christmas tree alone. This went on for a few years. About three years ago, my sons and I were talking about holiday decorating and admitted that the reason our cat went for the tree was because THEY threw catnip in it.
Question is.. does anyone have any ideas for Christmas ...
