    I usually buy the chubs for around 1.49 a lb although I have been buying the Angus chuck for 1.69 lb lately. I did find some on sale for .79 lb that was a mark down a few months ago and I snatched up 30 lbs of it.

    I love buying in bulk, it saves me money and time. I think I buy about 40% in bulk 40% loss leaders and 20% fresh produce and milk. The bulk items include produce also like a 50 lb box of potatoes. I plan my menu around what is on sale and if nothing stands out then I cook out of the freezer or pantry.
