  • Re: Pediasure Coupons?

Thanks for all of the ideas. We got two $2 coupons from her Nutritionist. She is on an all liquid diet due to some health issues, so she doesn't eat any solids for calories. They did also suggest adding powdered milk to her drink, or carnation instant breakfast. We're trying to get her switched to the Boost prescription that is higher ...

  • Pediasure Coupons?

Hey Everyone! We just adopted dd last month and due to some of her medical issues we are feeding her pediasure. We were getting it free from a program she was involved in pre adoption, but that is over. Our insurance will pay for part of it eventually, but that is taking a lot of paperwork and time to get it rolling! In the meantime we are ...

  • Re: Cheapest way to shave?

No! In the meantime I am using some disposables that I bought cheaply with coupons. They aren't great, but I already have them! I'll post if I decide on anything.

  • Re: Unexpected expenses

Things aren't so tight for us right now, so my ideas aren't that exciting. We have several "emergency funds". I keep $500 over our expenses in our checking account. That way if dh or I writes a check or makes a purchase and forget to record it, we're more than covered. (We wouldn't forget something costing hundreds of ...

  • Re: To Coupon or Not to Coupon

I had not been using coupons, but I am trying to start. I can get the SUnday and Wednesday papers for $4.95/month. I save at least that with no problem. We eat all natural and organic, so it's only been recently that the major companies were offering many of these products. It's a bit en vogue right now, so they have a lot of them. ...

  • Cheapest way to shave?

I hadn't bought replacement blades for my razor in over a year, so when I went to get some the other day I was horrified. They were so expensive! I had been getting them at costco, which was cheaper than anywhere else, but they don't have them anymore. I read on another thread that someone was using an electric razor. I haven't ...

  • Re: Swine Flu Precautions

About 1000 mgs of Vitamin C seem to be helping some people with this virus. That's a great immune system boost, and not too expensive compared to some other things. Kiwi fruit are a yummy way to get a lot of Vitamin C too. Be wary of too much sugar though, it's very bad for the immune system. Although it is important not to panic, it ...

  • Re: Are cloth diapers worth it?

There are some styles that make it really easy, with disposable liners. But, the liners are so expensive! Some cost more than the most expensive diapers, and other cost half as much as diapers.
