Green is the color of money ...something we are all trying to save.  And to encourage reusing, reducing and recycling!  Go Green!! I like it. It' inspiring.

I'd be happy to post every month what we get if anyone wants to know. I handle the clipboard with the pull sheet so all the substitutions are indicated on there.  Our next distribution day is May 16th.  Let me know if anyone would like that info.

We also got the organic chicken broth in place of the mixed veggies but we did get the pancake mix. That was in Pennsylvania

Our Church just started the Angel Food program last month.  I go with a group of men from our Church to the distribution site at 5 am on a Saturday. I  get to be the one with the clipboard checking to make sure we get all the foods correctly. We had April's  delivery yesterday. I did not order the main box but my brother ...

Sounds interesting Deb!  There is an Indian grocery right up the street from me. I always want to go in but have no idea what I'd be looking for. Maybe your recipes will inspire me to try something new and healthy.  Looking forward to your recipes.

This is a great thread. But then ALL the threads have something to offer. I love it!  My good news is that after being laid off since August I finally found a full time job.  I had taken a part time job at Lowe's in December and I plan on keeping it at least a day or two a week. I won't be making what I was before I got laid ...

I went yesterday and they were sold out. So I asked for a raincheck for the limit of 12.  Now I have to keep going back to see when they get them in. I can give some to family members as I don't think I'll need 12, but at 3/$1 you can't beat it!

I'm in too.  I like the idea of doing it every Friday.  Gotta get $30 together by this Friday. Maybe I can use money I got for Christmas.  Haven't spent that yet. I love this group! You are so inspirational to me. Thanks!

I too go to mysavings.com. It's great. Another is spoofee.com. There you will find freebies and good deals.  It's fun. I started last year and it gets addicting. You may not get all you sign up for but you do get quite a bit.

Love those chocolate deals. Last week our Giant Eagle had the Christmas Hershey kisses at 50 cents a bag. I bought 10 bags! Now if I can keep out of them...but they are so good.
