Ahhhh...we must not be any good either.
Hehe, we are the best! We have stopped to enjoy the basics of life. When we garden, we are in touch with the essence of life as our hands are in the very earth that sustains us all and we are handling basic life in the plants. When we do laundry, dishes, repairs or the like ...

We don't try to eat too much ground beef (we eat more ground lean turkey), but my bf likes beef in chili and for meatloaf. I try to get 90/10 ground beef b/c I am on Weight Watchers (the leaner the better!). I wait until it is on sale below $2.00/lb. and then stock up.

I too love soups and will save....frugal and quick! Thanks for the ideas!

Well, it's only 3 pounds for a few reasons....
1) I don't have the space for very much. I live in a backhouse!
2) It's just my boyfriend and I, and our fridge/freezer is very small, with NO room in site for another freezer.
3) I don't have a garden with access to that much cabbabe (I wish!) :)

I paid $3.00 for a half gallon of 1% (that was the sale price) this past Saturday. We go thru 1 half gallon a week (just my bf and I). I am really going to look into powdered/canned milk for cooking needs

Hi everyone!
I need your ideas for corn on the cob. It's in seanson right now and VERY (5 ears for $.99) cheap to purchase. We will obviously eat if off of the cob, but I was wondering, does anyone out there have some good recipes for cut-off-the-cob corn (relativley low in fat and cals)?
Thanks!
