  • Re: My very sick service doggie, Heart

So happy to hear the allergies are manageable, for both you and Heart. Oh what a nice vet's office it sounds like you have. It makes all the difference. We have a very loving vet here, and it makes a world of difference, doesn't it? I hope you can release some of the worry now (((((deb and heart))))))

VNW - thank goodness, but take it slow!!! Anyway, after I have a fever , I feel very weak and maybe that's what's going on with you and after you give it a night, you'll feel much better. Not that you shouldn't go out to eat with your friend if she calls :) ......big hugs.

No work for me this morning - the mom called to say she didn't feel well and was calling in sick to work so she would get her kids up and off to school - they are in 5th and 7th grade so they get themselves up and dressed with a lot of reminding but one has to take a lot of meds and that's really why I am there in the morning (that and ...

Deb - Scabies can cause severe scratching in dogs and is not communicable to humans, I believe. I pray that whatever the problem is that the resolution is quick and you and Heart can keep moving forward together. VNW - WOW, Aurora really needs you to be well. Take your time, tho, it seems as if she is doing her best to help you out. Big hugs.

I worked two jobs, included two extra hours at one of them, woo hoo. I am very tired and looking forward to having most of tomorrow off. DD2 was in town today and stopped by work (my nanny job) and ended up staying for 2 hours playing with the little girls with me. When she left the four year old turned to me and said, "I can't wait til ...

  • Re: Wednesday November 18 $$$ Stretching

Went to the writer's group last night and we spent most of the time talking about how it would be run each month (now it will be monthly - this was only the second meeting) and other stuff, but there was time at the end for us to share some of our writing. We were allowed 2 minutes to read a portion of what we had written for critiquing and ...

  • Re: Tuesday November 17 $$$ Stretching

Today should be stretchy. I may need some gas and might need $1 for AA meeting if I go (I got my 4 month sober coin last week :) ) . It was 27 degrees this morning but supposed to warm up a bit and it is beautifully sunny. The writer's group I joined will have its second meeting tonight. I wrote something to share but worry since two of the ...

Well! So much for a stretchy day! I get home and see that dh spent nearly $70 at wal-mart today. I look around the house and see all sorts of luxury items he purchased like big bags of dog food, catfood and a case of cat food plus oxy clean for me to do laundry! How could he fritter away our money that way....hahaha. I am kidding, of course. What ...

  • Re: Sunday November 15 $$$ Stretching

Hello! Dh said I was asleep before my head hit the pillow at 9 p.m. and I didn't wake until after 8, so I feel caught up on my sleep. We are taking a day of fun for ourselves today - going to see the men who stare at goats (we go to about 2 - 3 movies each year and I picked the last one (harry potter) so he gets to pick this one, but I'm ...

  • Re: Saturday November 14 $$$ Stretching

Woo hoo thanks for the good wishes - the typing test is set up so you get a practice test - and I did 70 words per minute with three errors - they requires 35 words per minute with no more than 15 errors, and I know I did better on the actual test because I was no longer nervous after I saw how well I did when I was shaking all over, lol. Hope ...
