nanagain, is there anyone in your church that does daycare? I know in Vt, they will pay what is called an expempt provider if they only care for your child. Maybe a friend with kids???? Babs

Food banks here,recently gave out hundreds of CFL blubs to help people cut down their electric bill. Babs

DH has an expense account. He has a Credit Card that is used for only that. Then he has a record at the end of the month of his expenses and where they were spent. He also has a card with reward points. He has enough points that he is getting a ticket to fly to Fla in Jan. to a conference. It works for him. Babs

If you add some sugar to them they will last a few days longer. Also, you can make jam with them if yotu eat that.Actually, as long as they look Ok and smell Ok, I would eat them. I think that the worst is that they would start to ferment.

It has been a nice week for frugal. Yesterday, DS and DD brough home two turkeys...around 12 lbs. They work the same place and got turkeys for free. Bean called me last night and she was given 50 lbs of organic carrots. She will freeze some and we will probably can some.Ihave a few empty jars. My MIL brough some food from her seniors food ...

When my kids were little, I did daycare and they hated sharing their toys. I put together toys that were only for daycare. Maybe youcould plan a craft project, storytime. something that is new and different for your child too. Kids always chalenge authority when other people or kids are around their own space. Babs
