 Our lounge isn't mega-formal - I try to keep it nice and we retreat in there at the end of the day. Its also further from the kid's bedrooms so the TV noise doesn't disturb them. The family room is an all-purpose room that is always festooned with craft materials, toys, a laundry rack, etc etc.....

I've been to Whole Foods here and found that they were rather expensive on their meats. Fresh vegetables were in line with regular produce, though. Organic milk was cheaper there, but we don't live close enough to shop there regularly, either.
