It's not strictly a frugal site, but the blog zenhabits.net has some frugal ideas from time to time. The posts are done by theme-  for example, Tuesdays are "Finance and Family" day, and last Thursday's post ("Happiness" day) was titled "30 Frugal Gift Ideas to Show You Appreciate Someone."

    I like www.Budget101.com forum.

Hillbilly Housewife has been sold recently.

Someone was asking about frugal forums yesterday on the forum at About. He wants to start a new one. He said that he'd keep in touch with me when it's up and running.

Maybe you could find it at Penzeys Spices or at Trader Joe's.

The King Arthur Flour Baker's Catalog has a bunch of stuff that is like that, too. Yes, they have a website.

Oh & if you're into bread baking, they have neat illustrated baking classes online.

Since the Economic Populist Forum has already been referenced, I'd like to add some more specific links to information on economic data from the site, so that those seeking specific information won't need to search the entire forum. This should help those who prefer not to read the commentary and just want to see the raw statistics.

There is an "Economic Data Links" section, which is a compilation of hundreds of links to different statistics regarding GDP, trade, employment, wages, manufacturing, government debt, etc. Most links are to government sources, such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics (or BLS, from the US Dept. of Labor), Bureau of Economic Analysis (or BEA, from the Dept. of Commerce), Census Bureau, Treasury Dept, etc. Some are from private sources, such as Briefing.com, or from semi-private sources, such as the Federal Reserve. Most publicly available economic statistics can be found at one of the links.

Any additional data links that visitors can add are always greatly appreciated.

There is also a "Housing" section, which includes home prices and links to several dozen housing blogs and forums.

For those watching the markets, including stocks, financials, bonds, precious metals, currencies, etc., there is a "References" section.
