    CVS! My first trip

Yesterday was my first trip to CVS for deals. I can't believe how it all works and how much stuff a person can get for free (after the initial cost). I got:

2 Colgate Total and had a $1 coupon
2 Playtex and had two $1 coupons
    2 three-packs of Dial soap
    2 Aussie shampoos
4 boxes of Quaker oatmeal and had a $1 coupon (this is something I buy anyway and the 2/$5 sale was great even before the coupon)
I spent $32 ($9 on oatmeal) and got $19.98 in ecbs. So, minus the oatmeal I got all the other stuff for about $3.  I'm addicted!

Well done. I don't have a CVS near me. No idea where the nearest would be. I've only ever heard of them from commercials on network tv.

Hi ... I shop CVS and Walgreens, too ... they can have some excellent ecb deals and the additional coupons sure do help.

I love shopping CVS! I just started using the ExtraCareBucks system a month ago. Got lots of good deals in November, for very little out of pocket. We should make a monthly CVS thread. :)

hikinggs A monthly CVS thread would be great!  We could help each other out and remember to use the ecb's before they expire.

    My CVS update.....

    4 Febreze sprays
    2 Dove deodorants
    2 Dawn liquids
    4 jumbo packs of Pampers

Total:  $3.64 and got back $7 in ECBs
The Pampers were on sale for $9.99 and I had $10 off coupons from a complaint I made about the stuffing coming out of the diapers.
