I send snail mail cards to a few friends and family who don't live nearby, but it's mostly ecards. It's just one of those things I realized, a few years ago, that I didn't enjoy very much. So now it's for the select few and no one seems to mind a bit.

Snail mail cards to family and friends who are not nearby distance-wise.  Some will have letters about the year's happenings.  Generally for my rescue group, we send e-cards.  We do, however, have special cards for Christmas as a fundraiser for our rescue group.

I've been sending Christmas cards (via snail mail) since I was a kid!

I send out about 40-50 cards each Christmas. Now that we have a kid (and one on the way), we send a picture with the card or get the pics printed on a card. I enjoy the Christmas cards I get (especially thosewith pictures) and look forward to displaying them each year on the piano during the season.

PS. My husband's aunt (lives in another state and husband's family very spread out) sends a nice letter each year with her card. It is a brief recap of all that her family happenings throughout the year and usually includes thoughts on all that she and her husband are thankful for. She prints it on some of that decorated printer paper. I love the update and think that I may do something simiilar to include in the cards going out to my out-of-state relatives.

     Have a blessed day,

    Julie

I love sending and receiving Christmas cards every year. It takes me longer to do ecards than it does to print off labels for addressing envelopes. lol I think we send about 70-80 each year.
