    since my freezers pantries and baking supplies are completely stocked for months to come i think that some of my dec food stamp alotment will be used to stock up on shredded cheeses (can these be frozen and used later) tortilla shells, frozen veggies and things the kids reallylike but dont always get  .  and then i may splurge on meats we dont usually get... deli meats steaks maybe meat for fajitas things like that.  we dont get normally but would really like.  i just want to make sure you can freeze shreeded cheees.

    Dear Casandra, Yes, you can easily freeze shredded cheese or cut cheese.  Just don't freeze it whole, as it will ten d to crumble in the thawing process.  It sounds like you'll have a real gourmet kitchen with some of your December Food Stamps.  Good luck!  Yours in Him, Deb
