DS tried to teach me about the acid in the different beers. Cant say that I fully understood it. He said that a lower acid beer will make a better tasting bread. Supposedly you can read and find out which beer is lower acid. That part I didnt get. I will have to get him to go over it again with me. Babs

Pumpkin Ale is very good, I think it would make a great bread.  Do you get Samuel Adams down there? I know its a New England based brand, and DB had only seen it once living in KY.  Sam makes a fall beer, Ocktoberfest, that's drark and really good.  We have some in the fridge from when our friends brought them up for apple picking festitives.  I might make a beer bread with it and tell you how it comes out. :)
