    Shampoo and conditioner

My hair is healthy and I can use anything on my hair.  I recently went to a Dollar store.  To my surpirse (I hardly go there) there were bottles of shampoo and conditioner that looked exactly as suave but with a different name on it.  I didn't buy any though,  Do you think it is suave but with a name change for the dollar store or it is a cheap immitation?

What products do you like at the dollar store?

My hair is picky and won't look good with just anything so I have to watch what I use.

I do like Dollar General's brand of Italian dressing and their gravy mixes.

I have never tried any dollar store shampoos but to answer your question. No, I don't think the shampoo you're looking at is actually Suave with a different name. It's probably a copy cat product made to look like the Suave bottle so we'll think it's Suave. I've seen that here, too. At the major dollar store here, I have actually seen products like Herbal Essence for a dollar (a small bottle). But, hey, for a buck you could try the Suave look-alike. It might actually be a comparable product and if you don't like it, you've only spent a dollar.

Shampoo that doesn't work well for hair works very well as a cleaner.

Shampoo that doesn't work well is also good- use a little squirt- for bubble bath!  Does anyone have a use for conditioner that doesn't work well?

Conditioner can be used as a shaving lotion ... leaves your legs nice and smooth!

I agree with LWolfT. I use conditioner as a shaving cream. It only takes a little dab though.

Thanks!  We've had a half bottle of conditioner in the tub that no one will use for ---5 years, I think?  It'll be good to use up!  My 10 year old just started shaving- poor girl- we are out of band-aids right now- she is getting the hang of it!  Maybe a little conditioner will help save her knees and ankles.

You can also use hair conditioner as fabric softener.

I've always worried about the effects of shampoo as a bubble bath, because I've heard with females it can cause infections. But then, if you overuse bubble bath the same can happen.

    Anyone?
