This is a list of all articles on printer cartridge comparisons.  Thanks for asking me that--I needed to renew this--one of my only two dead-tree subscriptions!

Nathan, you are absolutely right.Because some time,if we go to cheap cartridges and then that cartridges will cheap in quality also and because of this,we have to suffer a lot.

I've changed my original opinion on using generic ink on my Brother printer....it killed my printer. i replaced it with another $59 Brother printer and now Im using Brother ink. Costly, now Im going through a black cartridge every month due to the Bulletins and Flyers that i print for the church. They reimburse my monthly expense, but I'm sure they aren't liking it. I'd like another method. Amazon has been cheaper than any place else so far to buy from.

Treehugger has an article on a cute little setup called the Ink Silo.  Given the cost of cartridges, it is a nifty and efficient temptation.  The only thing stopping me is that my printer sits on a closet shelf and is only removed as needed--I use electronic archiving and email whenever possible to cut down on these costs.
