I have been "hearing" a lot of "buzz" on the coupon sites I go too that Walmart has marked down their bag cereal Malt-o-Meal to just $1 a bag.... some people said they found it on the "center sale isle". If so..... go to the Malt-o-Meal website (http://www.malt-o-meal.com) where you can print out $1 off coupons. Also, go to this Bricks coupon site http://www.couponsinc.com/corp/source/cp_clientlist.asp and if you scroll down and look at the list there are 2 Malt-o-Meal coupons which, if you hit the back button, you can print 2 times each.

I am going to one of the Walmarts in my area on the way to work tomorrow to see if my Walmart has this deal. It's worth checking out in your Walmart!

I checked my local Walmart this morning, on teh way to work and they were NOT on sale. Darn! Well, considering the sale seems to be going on in Walmarts all across the US, I figure it's bound to make it's way down here to Louisiana soon enough. I'm holding on to my coupons and will keep checking.

Ya'll be sure to see if they are on sale at your local Walmart. For FREE (or even for cheap) it's totally worth looking, in my opinion.

PS. but I did find Powerade on sale for 75cents each. My husband guzzles this stuff (which urks me!) and I usually stock up when it's on sale for 99cents. So, needless to say, my back seat is full of Powerade..... tonight I'll have to find a corner in our trailer to put them! LOL.

Hi!! This is my first time to post, but I have been reading the posts for a while now and decided to jump in

I printed the coupons for the malt-o-meal and went to Wal-mart by my work,I found the bags in the center aisle for a 1.00 (they were smaller bags like 12 to 15oz) when I got to check-out the cashier said that they didnt take internet coupons!!  But she said to go to malt-o-meal.com and email them and they would send me coupons in the mail. I did that and they responded back and said they would send them to me. I am going to try another wal-mart and see if they will take them. I usually use my internet coupons at meijer and never had any trouble. Has anyone else had trouble using them? Wal-mart associate said that when they take internet coupons they never get reimbursed.

Superman works at Walmart and it is corporate policy that they do take internet coupons.  Next time that happens, fight it.

I printed off 4 coupons, got my cereal for free.   

  I got my malt-o-meal coupons in the mail today, it only took them 2 days to send them-great customer service. I went to a different wal-mart today and used my 4 internet coupons and 3 that they sent me in the mail. WOO-HOOO!! 7 bags of cereal FREE!! Thanks Julie for the cereal tip.

Just an update for those of you who haven't gotten the Malt-o-Meal yet...

The sale just hit my store this weekend. WHOOOHOOO. The coupons from the Malt-o-Meal website do not work for this deal because they are for the big bags. But teh ones on the bricks website (http://www.couponsinc.com/corp/source/cp_clientlist.asp ) do work! And remember: for bricks couposn you can hit back in your web browser and print each coupon twice. So, this means that you can get 4 bags of cereal for FREE!
