newbie (have been a lurker)

Hello all,

I'm finally jumping in. I've been a practicing frugalite for a long time but there's always more to learn. I hope to be able to contribute a bit now and then, too.

I live in the pacific northwest with my DH. Our two children are grown and have their own homes, so we're empty nesters. I've recently "retired" from full time work as an accountant althought I'm no where near retirement age; I do some adjunct teaching and volunteer work in addition to my primary role as home executive.

It's nice to meet you all.
