    July Budget

I know some of you are already getting the bills that will be due in July and working through expected expenses. Post your budget and compare your actual spending through July.

Ouch! Can you cut back on food or some other area to help make up for some of the additional spending?

    rent 745
    electricity 83
    fees 8
    gas (house) 60
    gas (car) 150
    phone/dsl 43
    car payment 276
    insurance (car, renters, life) 130
    food/household/pet/hba 400
    entertainment 50
    tuition 220
    2165

My budget is tight this month, only about $25 of squish room, but if it's timed well I won't have a car payment since the insurance company of the car that hit me will be paying off the loan this week.  Also, this past month my food/household/pet/hba line was much lower than that and I'm hoping to repeat that again.

For July, we have $2,344 in income,

    more for expenses with just

    mortgage  $1350

    home equity $380

    credit cards $500

    insurance    $117

already over, without overdue heat, internet, utilities, any money for food or gas.  Going to be tight!  This is the month I'll have to find some more work, I think.  We can't get behind.

He has the job in Iowa, we are still WAITING on the job in our town.  If he goes to Iowa, it will be $525 a week pay for 16 weeks, $14 more than unemployment and part-time job, but the need to rent a room in Iowa ,start 7/14.  If if's MN, he will make, I think $725 a week, start 7/21.  Still hoping for MN!  Budget would be better in August, but tight forJuly with no unemployment the last few weeks, and a first paycheck the first week of August, then it could get better quickly.

    Re: July Budget

That seems like low pay for the expenses you have. Will you all be able to make it with either of those incomes?
