I was wondering about this too. I am definatly interested in joining or starting up a coupon train here in the western states. I have already started saving my extra coupons for the cause. I have no idea where to start though as this would be a first for me.

It is like chain mail where one person stuffs coupons into an envelope and they just keep getting forwarded to all the people who sign up for the train. When the envelope reaches you you take what you want add new coupons and drop the envelope in the mail. Its a fun way to get coupons for the price of postage. I may just start a train myself here on the west coast.

The Grocery Coupon Guide offers an informative section on coupon trains. That should help you to understand what one is and how they work.

Digginout . . . I might be interested in joining this group but I am very new to couponing and don't want to mess things up!  I have read Brandy's link and now understand what the coupon train is.  What will (generally) be our guidelines on this one?  I don't get the Sunday paper here but do find coupons in many other places.  Is this meant for the Sunday coupons or any kind of coupons?

Thanks in advance for your response and for taking the initiative to set this up.  Would just like to know kind of what will be involved or what the requirements would be as I have never done something like this before!
