Debt freedom and "living next to nothing"

I listen to Dave Ramsey on the radio when people call and say they are debt free.  It is exciting!  Dave Ramsey told them "so you were living next to nothing" (based on what they paid and their income).  It really hits home.  When you are determined to get out of debt, "living next to nothing" is the thing to do.

When I have those moments where I want to buy this or that.... I think of Dave Ramsey and"living next to nothing".
