    Creamy Chocolate Mousse

    I have been trying to find alternatives to chocolate candies for my family that don't contain soy or additives.

    The following recipe is for a very rich tasting creamy chocolate mousse-like dessert.

    Creamy Chocolate Mousse

    2 Tablespoons butter

    2 Tablespoons sugar

    2 Tablespoons powdered cocoa

    1 cup heavy cream

    1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla flavoring

     On medium heat, melt butter, sugar and cocoa powder together, stirring till combined and liquid consistency.

    Add heavy cream and whisk or stir in pan over medium heat until just before mixture comes to a boil.

    Stir in vanilla flavoring.

    Pour mixture into another container and let cool before covering and placing it in the refrigerator.

    Refrigerate overnight for best results.

    Makes 4 small servings.

     I made this and custamers loved this thank you for sharing. Oh I work at a deli and we all had to think of something sweet well when I was on the other day to see this well printed it and now in note book and it was made at the deli I work at thats what I ment.
