    What Shouldn't You Buy Now?

We all love sales but there are things that will be even cheaper after December.

Bankrate says buy these things later!    http://www.bankrate.com/finance/frugal/what-not-to-buy-in-december.aspx?pid=p:dls

What else do you find are better deals later in the year?

I find that food prices are higher, in general, in December. I buy holiday foods early, if possible. I also concentrate on the losing leaders during the month of December like baking supplies. Other than that, I don't stock up in December, but wait for sales in January for things like cereal.

Good article in general; we're thinking about buying some new furniture soon, so may wait til January now. Although we need a lounge chair desperately NOW--nothing in my living room is really comfortable enough for my mother to sit on and she'll be here right a couple days after Christmas. We keep looking, but just can't find the right combo of nice chair/good price.

But whew...I'm glad I didn't stock up on cashmere yet! LOLOLOL!!
