OK, the national title is actually "America Saves Week", but there's also a military version.
The theme is doing the financial housekeeping that you've been putting off. Their motto is "Set a Goal, Make a Plan, Save Automatically" (http://americasaves.org/blog/346-america-saves-week-february-19-26).
I've also put up a few new links on that theme, starting with the Bogleheads wiki section on military finances (http://www.bogleheads.org/wiki/Military_finances).
June Walbert from USAA's "Ask June" series put up a post on military money mistakes (http://www.militarymoney.com/PayBenefits/MilitaryPay/tabid/107/itemId/2711/Default.aspx).
Terry Howell at Military.com summarizes the employer incentives behind the "Veteran's Job Corps" program (http://militaryadvantage.military.com/2012/02/vet-job-corps/).
