We are at the last Friday of 2011. Share you biggest blessings from the past year. G'd has been good to us. We have seen many prayers answered.  Many of us faced some big problems but we are still here. Lets bless each other as we thank Him, Babs

These are my top 5 all the time but it makes me happy to say they are also the biggest blessings of 2011.

1. DH

2. My 3 children

3. My family, my side and DH side

4. My close friendships

5. My health

I PTL for His Goodness and the blessings he bestowes upon me.

 Just 5?  Hard to narrow down.

1. Having a medium heart attack in July, which gave warning of major problems, then having the resources to take care of it.

2. Feeling better than I have in years.

3. My family (even when they drive me nuts).

4. Knowing I have the financial resources and emotional and psychological support to face a crisis.

5. Having a great work environment and co-workers.  

It is hard to narrow it down.

I. Thankful that my family made it with no major damage through the crazy weather. HUrricane, floods, tornados near us,  Oct snow storm. Yes we lost trees and things. They are just things.

2. All of our kids are back in good jobs after some layoffs earlier in the year. Their bills are caught up.

3. My Mom is still with us and in a safe place being cared for each day.

4. DH, better put him in here. He had a rough year with losing his Mom and mentor.

5. Jesus that has forgiven me and guided me through a rough year.

1. Good health - Around mid December, we got the scare of our lives when DD13 was sent for tests for lupus.  Best Christmas present I ever received was the good news phone call from the doctor!  I've seen some lupus cases up close...one schoolmate who died, and a relative who has suffered terribly for years.  Scary stuff!
2. An income - DH's income fell off drastically.  Towards the end of last year, my part-time hours increased significantly.  We're not out of the woods but things would have been worse without the extra dollars
3. Finally got an underutilized asset sold after months of waiting...money came in time to take care of some expected and unexpected expenses
4. A roof over our heads and healthy food in our bodies
5. Family that can still stick together through tough stuff!
