Thanks, Latte, for having started this thread for us!

My FS came on Sat the 1st, but taht was the Sabbath, & it wasn't convenient to shop yesterday.  So today is the major monthly shopping for me at Cala/Ralphs/Kroger.

I benefit so much from double coupons -- that's my major reason for choosing Cala as my store (the otehr reson is that it's the onlh supermarket within walking distance.).  I am sorry, Latte, that you don't have the advantage of coupons' being doubled!

I'll post my shopping outcome either late today or in the morning.

All my love & prayers, Deb

This month is going to be tight for me when it comes to spending on my stamps.  I'm down to ~$13 until the 12th. When it gets filled up I have figure out how much I am going to spend. Both of my parents are getting mini baskets... mom I'm doing dark chocolate and fruit mixture and dad is going to be assorted nuts and fruit. I have baskets downstairs and am planning on using tablecloths for wrapping... so no extra expense there.

Plus I might be hosting Christmas so money spent there for food. I have enough food in my pantry/freezer that I will not starve if I get down to it. Just stamps will be tight if all happens that way.

Dear Luvd_Lioness, That does sound very tight indeed.  How much in FS will you be receiving on the 12th, if you don't mind telling us.  I understand how tight things can be in that last 10 days or so!

I believe that you are single & in Wisconsin, or am I getting all mixed up between Latte & you (my brain injury rises to the forefront again!).

If you do do Christmas, why not make it pot-luck?!!

So very, very glad to hear that you have a full pantry!

Deb, I get $162 for food stamps a month. Smile Yep, single in Wisconsin.

Christmas is still up in the air so I might not be doing anything.
