Not being argumentative, just relaying an anecdote. I had an aunt by marriage who had grown up in poverty. As a child she had seen a pretty pink cake pictured in a magazine and longed for one like it as her birthday  cake.  Seems that her cake was beautiful but tasted of beets! On the other hand, I have used such colorings to dye Easter eggs.  AM

Useful tips for make natural colours. Artificial dye contains with unwanted ingredients and it might lead for more diseases such as cancer and this kind of natural dye may help to reduce those kinds of diseases. Thanks for sharing this.
