I donated mine to a charity that takes used wedding and prom dresses and gives them (as is or renovated, as needed) to needy teens for school dances.

 Perhaps a high-quality consignment shop. An ad in the paper might also bring responses, given the price of wedding dresses.

I agree, Craigslist! If you can upload a picture, all the better. Make sure you highlight the features. We got my daughter's dress from Craigslist because it had the lace and Swarovski crystals we wanted. I applied them to the dress I was making for her. You might also try Etsy or Ebay or the classifieds on PatternReview.com

i also recommend the higher end consignment stores but you may not get near what you paid for or want for it...
