Tricia writes in with a dental question. Have you ever used one of those teeth whitening kits? Do you have other safe and frugal methods you can share to help this reader?

I was wondering if anyone has information on saving money on teeth brightening (bleaching) my dentist told me that she charges $350. I have seen kits to bleach teeth at home for $10-$20. Any feedback from readers would be helpful.

I have used the whitening strips sometimes and they work but brushing with  baking soda is easier and safer.

 I've used baking soda several times and its always noticeably whitened my teeth. It took some vigorous scrubbing but it got the job done, and at a cheap price too
