Beautifying your yard doesn't have to mean you are being frivolous. The ornamental things can be relaxing and promote better health. Others feed animals and that has it's benefits to the rest of your yard or your relaxation.

Water features are one of the things I love in a yard. I find the sound of water to be nature's music and it gives me more relaxation than whatever new product is out there or an expensive night out for dinner and entertainment.

These can be expensive if you run right out and buy a packaged item from the nearest lawn and garden store. We are frugal and we can do it ourselves! What water features do you have? Ideas on how to get them installed cheaply?

Now kidding teasing aside you got to be kidding or teasing her are you???? or if surrounding beauty that I do make a water fall in those bowls thats about it a fen chai moment thing going on and it has plants and rocks with it of course mom put a fake silk plant there people who come over don't know the diff.

LOL!  Water is the most frugal and best beauty aid, really. Keeping our bodies well hydrated means our skin is healthier and looks better.

But I believe that water is nature's work of art.

I have bird baths in my yard and these are the only water features we have.

I would love a tiny garden pond but we have never gotten that yet.

Water is a wonderful beauty aide when it's quality water.

As for water features, I have a cute bird bath as well Brandy! and fountains but need to fix the pumps. I am huge on indoor fountains too, not just outdoors.

I love koi poinds but have no place for them here as I rent.
