Dear All, As you may remember, I spent only $200 in Kosherizing my kitchen.  Naturally, I got low-quality items for the most part.  Well, I really only use a small saucepan & a 4-quart pot with any frequency.  Yesterday, the Dutch oven (4-quart pot) had a handle fall off.  Oh, my Heavens, what was I to do!  I certainly couldn't afford to replacez it!  Well, my afternoon aide was able to hold it tight while I screwed in the screw (which fortunately we had found) -- & it's as though brand-new.  We also screwed in tighter all of the screws on those pots that I use.  Blessings be!

Good for you for fixing it instead of tossing it out. That's the mark of a true frugal person. E
