    Matthew 6:25-34 Do Not Worry

25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

Hmmmmmmmm...  Years ago a friend was selling laundry balls that you used instead of detergent.  He asked me to give them a try (the old "puppy dog" trick).  I told him I'd buy them ONLY if they cleaned my gym socks.  I had some white socks I wore all the time, but no matter what I used on them to clean them they were always grubby-looking.  I think it was because they weren't all-cotton because I never walk around in my sock feet, and my all-cotton socks never look grubby.  ANYWAY - I tossed those socks in with EVERY load of laundry I did for a month and they never looked any different from all the trips through the laundry - even though they were never worn.  So from my experience, they didn't work any better than just adding laundry to water and swishing it around would.  That's not very scientific, but that my experience.

I do, however, like the non-toxic concept.

I looked them up on the internet. I wouldn't want those things banging around in my washer. E

I was looking for these too, wondering if anyone had any experience with these with a front loading washer? My husband and daughter have extremely sensitive skin so these might be a blessing for me (and them). The story on the website specifically says to use this brand and they are not going to be a magic miracle whitener just a replacement for your landry detergent. Thanks for any info!

    I have to wonder...

I accidently did a couple loads of laundry over the weekend and forgot to add soap. (my parents washer...and 10 loads...each one you have to put water in first then soap...)

The clothes came out pretty clean. I had one that didn't come clean...I washed it again with soap....stains still there...pretreated...washed again with soap...still there.

SO maybe we should just try with less or no soap except for really nasty loads (like gym clothes).

I've been using this product for over six months now. I like it for most purposes. I no longer need to double rinse to remove detergent residue, and without this residue, don't need to use fabric softener or dryer sheets. It's not as powerful a cleaner as detergent for genuine grime. Since a pair of capsules is good for 700 washes, it's a reasonably priced product. The biggest problem I have is reordering the enzymatic cleaning booster. The few online sources are constantly backordered.
