Kosher meat/poultry is certainly more healthy as the slaughterer is trained to look for all kinds of diseases, whereas the FDA lets lots of animals w lesser-known diseases through. I have never heard of a samonella recall on Kosher meat/poultry, for example.
All Kosher foods -- especially those with milk ingredients -- are supervised in the process of manufacture. Again, I have never heard of a recall ....
Kosher foods are more expensive, due to the costs of great hands-on work in supervision. But, if one can afford them, there is certainly a high chance that they will not turn out to need to be recalled, & hence are healthier. (Since I can afford them on Food Stamps, it MIGHT be possible for others to slowly switch to them.)
I once posted a list of Kosher symbols. Does anyone want me to do this again?
