While I'll continue indefinitely to reply to all posts on this subforum, my not participating on other forums is due, simply put, to the fact that there are not enough hours in my day to write the book that I am now working on AND read & respond to the wonderful posts in this Forum.  I was spending about 2-1/2 hours daily on the Forum, & am now spending that time writing my book.

As I said in another thread, I think it's terrific and I'm glad you are alive and kickin'around here...if only on a couple forums.  ; )

Definitely do take enough time to write - we'll kick you off if we 'see' you on another thread   That way, when you're done, we can say we knew you 'when', lol! Good luck and get busy!  Liz

Actually, Shellia, I was notified on Weds that one chapter will be published as a magazine essay.  That is what I am trying to do, get each section published in a magazine, & thus have plenty of "clips" to show a book publisher.  Hashem (the L-rd) has been good to me.  Yours in Him, Deb

Dear Deb,

Once a book has been written and you don't have a lot of money what can you do to get it published? I have heard of self publishing and that it is very expensive and lots of paper work.  Is this true? How much in reality does it cost to write a book and how many copies do you get once it is published?  Thank you in advance for your information.
