I gleaned the freezers today and will do a marathon cooking session over the weekend.  On the list is Cajun Red beans in the crockpot, a nice boneless pork roast cooking in bread 'n butter pickles in the crockpot, monster cookies, chocolate chip cookies, bran muffins, corn chowder for the freezer, and seafood chowder for the freezer.

Laundry today with homemade soap and dryer racks instead of a power dryer.

I will make 3 full benders of jalapeno red ant killer with home grown jalapeno's, habenero's, and rain water.

I have 3 loaves of bread rising and made a gallon of powdered milk for the weekend.

Since I am working outside the home today and it is month end so I will be at work all day. I made sandwiches for lunch for both of us. Kids are going to Nana's & Grandpa's today instead of my moms. Just discovered that we are suppose to have dinner there today according to dh. love how they share info 2 days later. not completely sure if it is true. Breakfast is cereal for the kids and premade breakfast cookies for me :)

We're eating out of the freezer/pantry today and I'm baking bread.

I save tuna "juice" in the freezer until I have enough, then put it in potato soup. There's usually enough tuna bits in it to make it a sort of tuna chowder. I just made some day before yesterday with two of the potatoes I grew this year from potato bag rejects last year (they were growing and shriveling). Very good potato soup, along with some corn bread from the freezer. It's all gone now, unfortunately.

I didn't go to Walmart (big temptation).  I went to big lots and bought a gift for my nephew.  Then, I wnet to a grocery store and didn't deviate from the list (an improvement).  My son bought his own Halloween mask with $$$ he earned yesterday.  I didn't buy any meat so I can use what I have in the freezer.

My grocery budget was a disaster after my regular trips to Walmart.  No more!!

    Stick out tongue!

I'd do better to buy less, from the way these pants are fitting lately.

LOL  I cant imagine adding tuna juice to my potatoe dish, although the more I think about it the better it does sound.  But I have a 17 pound cat and 2 dogs that would probably not like the idea so much. :)
