    Angel Food convenience pack?

Does anyone know about the "family convenience meal special from Golden Cuisine"? Are they individual meals, or five family-size meals for $18? Are they good?

     What is this Angel Food?

    1 Samuel 12:24
But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.

I don't see it in Wisconsin yet.

It is discounted food, usually restaurant-quality, that is distributed through churches and other organizations. It isn't based on need or income. Sometimes it is a good value and other times we don't use enough of it to make it worthwhile.

I would think they are family size entrees like the Banquet sals steak with gravy entree or similar amount of servings.

They look like TV dinners in individual sizes. I am not sure if that's a good deal on something like that. If they compare to the healthier ones, maybe.

Yes, but if they are individual meals, $18 for 5 isn't such a hot deal when you have 5 people in your family to feed.

I think I'll ask when I go in to order my regular packages.

Rolo, I was thinking like you. It says "family convenience meal" and that's what threw me off. Banquet or On-Cor is a "family convenience meal" in my book, even though I can't feed 5 from one tray.

If I were to feed us all for a week on that, I'd spend $100. I don't think so. But if I get the desire to have a few TV dinners on hand, those might not be too bad.

I like some of the Banquet family meals but we usually need two to have enough for all of us.
