hello all,

i know it has been a while since i posted, but we have been very buzy.

 john calvin, our ds, is doing great, we had 6 weeks that was very bad for him at the hospitsl, he was out of control, and the dr were trying all types of meds, therapy, ect... and then 3 weeks ago, something just clicked for ds, the meds started working and the thearpy, everything, he got a 4 hour pass this weds.!! we got to take hime out to luch and shopping at walmart! it was wonderful, he was very well behave, respectful, loving  all of it!  we had a great time! then today he made his  "point level" and got to go out with staff to pizza hut for lunch buffet and to the movies!! if all goes well, he will get a 4 day pass for thanksgiving , so he can be with us overnight!, and hopefully he will be home for christmas for good!, all those prayers and good thoughts for us really worked! God is so good!

 for the rest of my family.. my mom started her radiation for her breast cancer, and is doing well, my mil was in the hosptial for 9 days with  Delirium,(boy that was something,let me tell you) and then was here at our home for 4 days, which was very overwhelming, i was jumping up for her for everything, i am so tired! she went back to her apt today.

then.. dh has a infected toe, and had to go to the er today , so he can't walk so i am doing alot for him(which i don't mind, i love him)

i am hanging there, all the good things with ds has kept me happy during all the rest of the stuff going on,

 i hope all of you are well and happy, take care all and again thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts, even though i have not been posting alot, i do think  of all you daily.

thanks for the update  You are in our prayers ..   Hope you are together for the holiday .

 Dixie, It sounds like things are going into an up swing. I hope your mom will take the radiation well and your son will be home for t-day. I hope your family will contune to improve.

I am glad that things are improving!!   I often think of you and your family and hoped all was going better!

Sorry to hear things are so hetic right now Dixie but glad to hear that they finally found the right medcocktail for your ds. Once they're sure he's stable he should be allowed to come home shouldn't he?

I am glad you dropped by to update us. I miss you around here.

So happy to hear that things are going well for your son. 

 Wonderful that your DS has found something to really help. That is such a long, trial-error process sometimes.
