    Hi, hi everyone!

Hi all, just wanted to be "proper" and introduce myself. Somehow I accidentally made this my second, not first post but oh well here goes.....

I'm a wife and mom of four and I've been pretty resourceful over the years. We've always been a one income family except for a couple of years where I put my toe in the job market. It ended up costing more than I made but that's another story. Right now with the kids in their teens (yep all of them at onceStick out tongue) my resourcefullness is really being tested!

I stumbled across DS through a personal finance blog and I've really enjoyed reading the forums!  I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome I've btdt a few times people always assume it's easy to go from being at home 24/7 to working but forget cost of work clothes (most employers don't allow sweats or stained up jeans & t shirts), gas and of course if needed day care for the kids so they don't take the opprtunity to kill, maim or torture each other in mom's absence. My mother is still learning about what we did to each other when she was at work and we were watching each other over 30 ys ago.

3 of my 5 are teenagers unfortunately all 3 are boys so right now I'm considering this the age of chocolate. Chocolate is a good thing it helps to relieve lots and lots of stress. Plus the worst that can happen from having too much chocolate is weight gain the worst that can happen from losing things like your temper too much is CSP on your door step and no one wants that.

     Misski,

Welcome, welcome, welcome!  I hope you are a prolific poster!  My kids are all grown up (and then some), but I love it when the folks here post about their kids.....................and I think to myself "I remember when mine did that........."
