My local grocery store is selling 1.5 lb.  (24 ounces) frozen slabs of wild caught Alaskan salmon for $7.00.

I was considering buying one, but didn't know if that was a reasonable price. 

I would probably get 3 to 4 meals out of that.

Depending on what kind of salmon, here in Western Washington, $4.67 per pound would be a good price.

 I think that's a very good price for where I am. Sockeye salmon this week is on sale here $7.99/lb.

 Good price. Sounds like barbeque time!  Salmon smoked, basted with margarine and lemon basil or lemongrass...yum..

It's an incredibly great price for salmon here in north texas :)
