Since the original thread seems to have taken a trip into "elsewhere", I thought we could continue it here.  

Well I paid the newspaper bill for the next few months.  made payments on the credit cards and put some more stuff on the credit cards! so kinda cancelled each other out.   prepaid an order for shoes so wanted the security of the card plus online purchase for disney on ice tickets.

 Bought some socks for stocking stuffers on sale for 30% off, & got a 100% cotton turtleneck on clearance for $3.  Two more gifts crossed off the list without incurring more debt.

I have a new name, I tried several times to get resigned in as latenightleader, but never got a confirmation email.  Anyway, hi all slayers.  

We have had two hits this week- the transmission went out in my car- it will cost $2400 to get a used one with a one year warrenty put in, and legal bills are rolling in.  Still trying to get the November mortgage together, the other bills will go to debt. 

Smaller bills- 7 of us have been sick, with the H1N1 or some sleeping illness!  We stay in bed whenever possible.  I bought 5 different kinds of meds, we have been through 6 boxes of Kleenex, and other related costs.

Trying to get a perspective of the year, it is with greater debt, but managed as closely as possible.  

 Tracy, we are glad to have you back as either latenightleader or tracyinmn!  Those transmissions are pricey - - we have replaced a few of those, too. Hopefully you and all of yours are on the mend.

Yikes! I wonder if our system difficulties go beyond issues with posts. Zapping posters will not do at all.

No. This was due to an update before the threads disappeared, which is a different creature. Some people had trouble with their passwords.

that explains why I had to sign in again.     someone called successatlast  spammed a bunch of threads. ugh I hate that!
