    Creative Uses For Large Cans

I've been saving the containers from powdered drink mixes. They are the cans that are either 6 inches or 9 inches tall and the opening is 4 1/2 inches across. They have the round plastic lids that go on top. I used one to hold additional kitchen gadgets and it works great but I'm at a loss to how to use the rest of them. I've been using glass to hold food items ( I have to see what's inside ). I'd rather repurpose these cans than throw them away. Any Ideas?

Are these plastic cans or cardboard/pasteboard? If they're plastic, use them to hold leftovers or other refrigerator items. They could be used to store nails or things like that. How about decorating one to put on the counter as a canister for coffee or sugar substitute packets, string/twistemties/rubber bands/ (etc). You could use one to hold an assortment of small things for a gift. Or decorate them and use them to hold Christmas gift mixes.
