What are you doing with your left over Halloween candy?

I had more trick or treaters than usual but also had left over candy so I donated the rest of my left over candy to the local senior citizens center.

I usually let everyone pig out for about a week and then I find a new source for it.  Sometimes I save it and use it in goody bags for parties at DD's school.  Sometimes I take it to church and just put it out on the table where the buletins and devotional books are kept and let people help themselves.

Took it to work and put it in a big bowl with a sign on it "Help yourself". We had to get that stuff out of the house or we'd eat it and gain 10 pounds each.

If you bought any size of "Snickers" candy bars you can just throw them in the freezer and use them later to make a "Snickers Cake".  There are a million recipes on the net for it..........some more complicated than others.  However, I STRONGLY feel that which ever one you make, you need to take it to work, church, PTA, etc...........share those calories!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It's not exactly healthy (but oh so good).  Or you can just duct tape the cake to your rearend.......which is what I usually do.

You can also save those Snickers for Snicker salad.  My family loves it.

We live in the country, and have no trick or treaters.  I buy the Snickers with the sole purpose of sticking them in the freezer.  Eating frozen Snickers is my hobby.  LOL      My  friend makes a salad ( I use the term salad loosely) (if thats how you even spell it).  She chops up 2-3 apples, breaks a few handfuls of pretzel up and adds cool whip and chopped snicker bars to this so called salad and serves this in the summer at get togethers.
