Most days when I'm working I'm not spending money - there's no place there to spend any so that makes it easy! I also try to stay out of stores unless going in for something specific and then stick to the list of whatever I'm there for. It is easy to become distracted by attractive displays, and one must steel one's mind to ignore such things.

Of course I'm in!

Shopping for groceries today I think.  Then hopeful to not spend anything for the rest of the week.  My grandmorther's birthday is this week so will buy her a card but that should be it I hope!  Going to make her some baked goods to go with it.

Dh's birthday is next weekend and we have an offer from my mom to watch the kids so we can go out.  Rarely happens so we are planning a dinner out together in a restaurant that does not cater to children!  I will feel fine about spending for that meal if I don't spend any money all week.

spent $105 between walmart and farm market today!    still have gas and a bit more shopping to do. so at least another $70 out this week.

I had to buy some groceries yesterday for my family of 4 ($68 at shoprite) and will try not to spend the rest of the week...I do not buy things while I am at work since I also do not have any stores nearby and I refuse to move my car at lunchtime because I am trying not to use up gas...I forgot, I did buy gas yesterday too ($12) to fill up my tank for the work week.  Our 32nd wedding anniversary is Nov 5 and I plan to cook us a nice meal.  Will refrain from going out to a restaurant in order to save $$.  The current economic climate demands that we all save as much as we can where ever we can.  A penny saved is a penny earned mentality is what I am sticking with.

I was doing well until Friday.  I went to the doctor and five prescriptions later in addition to the two that I knew about ate my entire paycheck.

I was in bed all weekend.  DH went to the store for some Halloween candy and some flavored applesauce for me.  That was my weekend.

Hopefully, this week will be better.

OK, switched my no spend day from today to yesterday!  Was too lazy to go grocery shopping yesterday, we enjoyed a whole day at home doing very little.  So today I'm going to get my groceries since I didn't do it yesterday!

I'm in this week too.  Today was a mostly no spend day.  I had to make 3 copies at the library, that was only 30 cents.  Tomorrow will be another story as it is payday and I have some bills to pay and I have to order a few gifts online for Christmas.

still spending..$50 on gas today needed a full tank, it was low.  safeway has 10% off cust.apprec day tomorrow so I will do some shopping then.
