    2009 AFM Christmas Holiday Box

    I saw this on twitter:

    No Christmas Box

Maybe they'll change their mind.   But just in case, anyone who wanted to order a Christmas holiday box could still order the Thanksgiving box & save it for Christmas if it turns out to be true.  Think there is about a week left to order the Thanksgiving box.

The link brings up the facebook page and under the message"ONE WEEK left to order your Thanksgiving Holiday Box. Give the gift of food for the Holidays."

you have to click on "View all comments".  The AFM notice was the 5th comment down.

LindaC I had email asking about the Christmas box. The email back said they were not going to have a christmas box, but they were going to have a meat and cheese special. It was back in August when I was told in an email they were planning on having a Christmas box. I am a little disappointed that they changed their minds. So if I am kinda disappointed who else is. What I am worried about is the ones who couldn't afford to buy this special meal without Angel Food. So I guess I will be buying this meal at the store after all.

Can I suggest that every one that was hoping for a christmas box/special email AF and let them know. If no one lets them know that they was hoping for a christmas box and that they are not happy that there is none. Then they have no way of knowing.

That's a real shame that the box won't be available for Christmas.

They should have mentioned that so people had time to plan and budget for ordering two Thanksgiving Holiday boxes to cover both.

i don't know about a meat and cheese special for December, but this was talking about a holiday box, like the Thanksgiving one.  I think it was brenyl that said there would be a meat and cheese box in place of a holiday box for Dec., so I guess there will be something for Christmas, but just not like the Thanksgiving box.  It's a shame because I'd guess that the meat and cheese box wouldn't have any veggies, sides or dessert for a Christmas dinner.
