do you mean the betty crocker/duncan hines frosting in a plastic container? because I have lots of them because they go on sale for $1.25 here so cheaper then making it and easy.

I have seen the decorative icing in a small can with different piping nozzles. was about $4 here but got some for .99  each in the discount bin. thought for the kids to decorate cookies.

I actually saw, today, a bag with two potatoes.  It read, "MIcrowavable Baked Potatoes".  OMG...how stupid does one have to be, to buy that?  I had a good laugh with the lady who was next to me.

I don't get the pancake in a can thing.  I mean, is it really hard to make pancakes?  I'm no great chef and the first time I made pancakes, I burnt them during the cooking process (just the first couple!), but mixing the batter is just following the instructions -- 2 cups of this, a bit of that.

I can't stand the icing in a package!  I think it tastes weird, so I just make it myself.

Now bottled ranch dressing is starting to taste funky to me.  I think I'm actually developing an aversion to pre-packaged foods.  I told DH that I'm going to look up a recipe to make ranch dressing myself.  He said, "I'm surprised you don't make everything yourself.  You've gotten really picky lately."  LOL  He's right.  A lot of pre-packaged stuff has tasted bad to me.  The only thing in a package that I still like is cake mix; certainly not as good as scratch cake, but still pretty tasty!

The whole point of turkey is to get to the pie.

I burn pancakes alot (a little burned)  so dh job!  don't know why impatient I guess.    making batter even from scratch is easy.  I don't understand why pancakes in a can either, just like the pb slices..spreading pb is not hard and keeps well.

I don't mind icing in a can, great for easy cakes like mixes.

I think the more you cook from scratch, the more you don't like prepacked food or the preservatives.  My thing is that we wouldn't use up fresh dressing fast enough. I don't even normally use enough of salad dressing before it expires.   kids are happy eatings carrots sticks with out dip.

Uncrustables premade sandwiches - I think they have a grilled cheese version in addition to PB&J. Is it really that hard to slap some peanut butter on bread? Or cheese - esp. if you get sliced cheese?

My son likes the uncrustable type sandwiches, and when I buy them, I get them from Aldi (their brand), and sometimes, I'll even use my little Pampered Chef gadget that cuts and crimps the sandwich bread slices together. Saves lots of $$!!

don't have those up here.  or they may have tried them. things like that don't go over big here.   I never cut off crusts off sandwiches so the kids eat them.  not into starting habits like that, they have enough things I have to correct them on lol!
